Block Diagram of PLC

A typical block diagram of PLC is shown in the top picture.

There are 3 essential part available in plc. These are below.

  • CPU (Central Processing Unite)
  • Programming Device.
  • Input/Output Module.
Input output module:
There are two types input/output module available in PLC
  • Digital Input Module
  • Analog Input Module
  • Digital Output Module
  • Analog Output Module

Analog Input Module:
  • Thermocuple
  • RTD (Resistance temperature detector)
  • 0 volt to 10 volt.
  • 4 mili amp to 10 mili amp
Digital Input:
  • AC and DC
  • Proximity switch
Analog Output Module:
  • 0 Volt to 10 Volt
  • 4 mili amp to 10 mili amp
Digital output Module:
There are three type of digital output available in PLC system.
  • Relay Type. (AC & DC)
  • Transistor Type (DC)
  • Trick Type (AC)

PLC Programming & Repairing.
Industrial Automation

  1. Logic control
  2. Veritable data input and output.
  3. Motion control.
  4. Automation Input elements/Process calibration.
Logic Control:
There are different types logic control available in local market described in below.

  • PLC (Programmable logic control)
  • PAC
  • CNC
  • DDC
(Note:
What is Logic?
Ans: ON/OFF is known as logic or 0 and 1 this digital value is known as logic.
What is analog?
Ans: Analog is continuous value.)

Variable Data input and output:

Veritable data input output is known as communication. There are different type communication available in PLC system.

  • PROFI BUS
  • PROFI NET
  • BOD BAS
  • CAN BAS
(Some time logic is known as bit logic operation)

Motion Control :
  • AC Motor
  • Servo Motor
  • DC Motor

PLC & HMI Training:

This course will teach you the basics about PLC's, how they are constructed and used in industry, how to create Ladder programs, use Timers and handle Data etc. You will gain experience in using a PLC Support Tool, which allows you to write PLC programs on your PC. Learn to identify the different types of PLC and understand how the PLC works as opposed to a PC. Learn how to write small program routines in Ladder language, addressing of contacts and coils, understand how and when to use Timers, create latches and manipulate data values, which are all fundamental in any manufacturing process. Plus you will gain a basic understanding of the PLC numbering systems and how to convert numbers into the different formats that PLC's utilize.
